YELLOWKNIFE'S FAMOUS WINTER FESTIVAL
TURNS 30: LONG LIVE THE SNOWKING!

This March, Yellowknife's Snowking Winter Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary. The month-long event features a stunning snow and ice castle on the frozen Yellowknife Bay, celebrating community spirit with entertainment for young and old, as art exhibits, live music, child performances, and more – all in a magical winter setting. Every year, the Snowking himself, Anthony Foliot, founder and creative mastermind behind the Snowking Winter Festival, leads a dedicated team to build this ever-evolving castle with sculptures, slides, and unique features, showcasing the region's local culture and the beauty of winter.

WITH DIAMONDS DE CANADA

The Northwest Territories are home to some of the world’s highest-quality diamonds. Thanks to Canada’s world-class standards for sustainable mining, which ensure respect for the land and its ecosystem from survey to reclamation, these diamonds are carefully crafted. LAC LA MARTRE ADVENTURES

Nestled on Clemey Island in the heart of Lac La Martre, approximately 200 km northwest of Yellowknife, Lac La Martre Lodge is a remote fly-in retreat perfect for fishing and outdoor adventures. The lake is renowned for its exceptional lake trout and pike fishing, while the surrounding trails offer incredible wildlife spotting opportunities. From late summer onwards, the Aurora Borealis paints the night sky in mesmerizing colors.
