Churchill River Canoe Outfitters

Churchill River Canoe Outfitters (CRCO) has been offering paddling adventures in the wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan for 60 years, creating unforgettable experiences for adventure seekers in the great outdoors. Their location in Missinipe, on the Churchill River, 80 km north of La Ronge, in the heart of the boreal forest on the Canadian shield ensures that each canoe route is both challenging and awe-inspiring. CRCO’s services range from guided multi-day canoe excursions and fishing trips to equipment rentals and canoe shuttles. The guides are certified canoe instructors with a vast knowledge of northern Saskatchewan canoe routes and cook up some great meals at the end of each paddling day. The Churchill River offers canoe experiences for any skill level, from bucket list adventurers, families, to expert paddlers. At the Missinipe base camp, there are eight comfortable cabins available for daily, weekly, or even monthly rentals.

Churchill River Canoe Outfitters had been run by Ric Driediger from 1987 until 2023, when he sold the canoe outfitting portion of his business to Martin Bernardin and family of La Ronge.
Martin also operates Montreal River Outpost (outdoor gear store) and Kisseynew Canoe Company (specialized in building canoes) in Air Ronge.
